California kids to governor: No more cuts; give us some Dough-Re-Mi

Angry about the prospect of more drastic cuts to California’s already thin education budget? Then you will appreciate this music video featuring some very talented elementary school students from the South Pasadena Unified School District.

It begins with the voice of a broadcaster saying: “And in Sacramento, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger unveiled the latest round of budget cuts to education. Frustrated by the prospect of larger class sizes, dwindling school supplies and drastic cuts in programs, elementary school students at the South Pasadena Unified School District had this to say.”

  1. Inland Empire, CA— Students, Parents, Classified and Certificated, lets put our legislators on Notice. Join us Friday, June 12, 2009, 4:00 p.m. at the office of State Senator Robert Dutton, 8577 Haven Avenue, # 210 for a rally to save Education Funding. We will then move to the office of Assemblyman William Emmerson at 10681 Foothill Blvd., #325, Rancho Cucamonga. We will tell our Legislators to fully fund public education. Come and join our efforts!
